“Hector Andres” was born Hector Romero. He was born and raised in the bay area as an only child to two Mexican immigrants. He was influenced heavily by 2 Pac, Atmosphere, Living Legends, and many other Hip-hop acts at that time. He began his rap career at 15 as a freestyle rapper, hitting cyphers every chance he got! After a few years of freestyling he started recording his music and putting it out, he built his own studio at 19 and did all the engineering himself. At the age of 20 he decided to go to E’xpression college for digital arts where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in audio engineering. He has mainly done hip-hop and RnB music through-out his career but has recently reconnected with his Latin heritage and started doing his own style of “Spanglish” music, which includes a combination of Reggeaton, Trap, and RnB which he calls a Hybrid. Currently, Hector Andres is working on his first album entitled "Aye Aye Amor" to be released August 2020.
