Bombing The Avenue is a guitar based alternative heavy rock band from Athens, Greece formed in 2010. After their first live show at Kyttaro Club in the fall of 2010, the three brothers played numerous shows at many stages of Athens such as Plateia Nerou, Theatro Vraxon, Six D.O.G.S, An Club, Romantso, Plissken Festival, Guests at Schoolwave Festival and Technopolis Athens School Festival. Their first release was "Avido" (May 2012), a 6 song EP that led them to become an accountable member of the Greek rock music scene. It led them to Plissken Festival 2014 alongside 65daysofstatic, Fink, Black Lips, Sunns and more. 3 months later, they won the Greek Battle of The Bands which gave them the opportunity to play at the GBOB Finals 2014 in Chiang Mai, Thailand. In 2014 and 2015 Bombing The Avenue toured many cities of Greece and Cyprus and shared the stage with bands like Truckfighters, Dub Trio, Planet of Zeus and Nightstalker. Their debut album Civil Servant was released in May 2015 and was celebrated and performed at a sold-out gig at Six D.O.G.S in Athens. In December 2019, after 2 years of production, Bombing The Avenue released their second album, Dysfunctional which was enthusiastically welcomed by their fans, the single Hangover City and a self-produced music video for the song Pissings which was directed by the drummer of the band, Jay Chris. Bombing The Avenue, the three brothers from Vari, never miss the opportunity to evolve; 2020 will be their next big chapter.
