An internationally reputed saxophonist, he emerges out of very different musical types. His career extends from classical music to the most contemporary. His musical abilites have led him to create a saxophone and piano duo – the André Caplet duo- with which he recorded three CDs, a saxophone and organ duo -SaxOrgue- 300+ concerts and 4 recordings, a saxophone, guitar and drums trio -Soledad-, and a saxophone quartet -y’aka sax- with which he recorded 2 CDs greatly rewarded by reviewers (Classica, Jazzman, Jazz Hot). As a versatle orchestra member, he was part of: Classic: the radio France philharmonic, the Bordeaux Natonal Orchestra, the Paris internatonal ensemble, Concerts Colonnes... Jazz: Szanillos quartet, Michel Tafani quartet, Stguibat, Senggha, etc.. Variety and rock : the mythic Urban Sax, the Pigalle group etc... As well as performing high level concerts and recordings, he’s also an excellent teacher. Holder of a state degree and a certifcate of competence, he taught at Chatenay Malabry and Clamart conservatories before joining the Bordeaux conservatory where he has been a full professor of saxophone since 2005 and where his class is internatonally renowned. He teaches from beginner to professional levels. He is also a tutor at the higher educaton establishments of Bordeaux Aquitaine and Poiters. His musical and pedagogical qualites have led him to give master classes in Israel, China and Japan.
