DEFOCUS is a dynamic and powerful four-piece metalcore band hailing from Aalen/Stuttgart, carving its niche in the heavy music scene since its formation in 2019. The band was born out of a shared passion for powerful soundscapes, by Jeffrey Uhlmann, Jonas Mahler, Simon Müller and Marcel "Bambam" Heberling. In July 2021 they released their debut album “In The Eye Of Death We Are All The Same”, featuring hit singles like "Disease". Eager to unleash their power on live audiences once more, DEFOCUS played at some established festivals such as “Euroblast Festival”, “Summer Breeze Open Air” or “Fajt Fest”. The band's reach expanded as they delivered their relentless energy to diverse audiences around the heart of Europe. The band's hunger for the stage intensified, leading them to embark on their first European tour in early 2023, sharing the spotlight with fellow heavyweights Abbie Falls and Necrotted. Looking ahead, DEFOCUS is gearing up for a monumental chapter in their career. Their highly anticipated sophomore album, "there is a place for me on earth," is set to be unleashed on March 1st, 2024, emerging in collaboration with the acclaimed producer Vojta Pacesny (Aviana, Abbie Falls, etc.). With a refined sound and a renewed sense of purpose, DEFOCUS is poised to leave an indomitable imprint on the metal landscape, solidifying their position as a force to be reckoned with in the realm of heavy music.
