Yufu is an aspiring Soul / Funk musician who takes inspiration from the classic 70's sound. Based in Taiwan and Japan, he is one of the few Vintage-style Asian soul artists who record original songs while paying tribute to the greats in the soul genre. In today's digital and artificial world, Yufu strives to create a warm sound reminiscent of the time and feel of the sensual 70's soul music. Growing up listening to Motown and psychedelic music, he always had a deep connection and indescribable love towards soul, funk and R&B music especially from the 70s artists like Curtis Mayfield, Willie Hutch, Barry White and Eddie Kendricks to name a few.
