The Music Ash has been described by critics and the media as having an unforgettable voice and hook-laden songs. The South African-born/Canadian artist emerged in the San Diego's music scene in 2004 with his much-acclaimed debut album "Twelve Days in January". The albums first single "Come Into Love" won him 1st Place in the Rock Category for the Month of January in the 2004 Vh1/Save The Music Song Of The Year Contest where he used his last $25.00 to enter the contest. Small contest but gave him and his album enough of a push to get a momentum going. In 2013 The Music Ash created the Band Project "ashThirtyThree" with the release of his next album "Walk The Streets Of My Life". The Bands lead off single "Walk The Streets Of My Life" went Top 5 on College Radio Stations across the USA and continues to play in rotation. The album was recorded and produced with Joel Jaffe at Studio D Recording in Sausalitoia California. The Music Ash continues to play Acoustic and full Band shows throughout the USA and Canada and has delighted his fans with his rich melodies, arresting vocals and genuine lyrics with his songs "Walk The Streets Of My Life", "Wings Of My Life", "Come Into Love", "Life So Ordinary", "Alone In It Too" and many of his other songs. The Music Ash music has been featured on many National and International Radio, TV & Internet Platforms & Stations from his Professional beginnings in 2003 to now.
