Biography

Lorna Dune is a multi-keyboardist, producer and DJ exploring ambient electronic landscapes, sci-fi fantasy synthesis, polyrhythmic techno, contemporary classical composition and experimental contemplative music. 
 She has been in bands and ensembles with composer Missy Mazzoli & Victoire, activist group JD Samson & MEN, Lukas Ligeti’s Notebook, composer William Brittelle and band Wye Oak’s orchestral collaboration, and other bands such as Brooklyn’s Slow Six, Love Like Deloreans as well as Portland’s Notel. 
 As a performer she has appeared at the Whitney Biennial, Carnegie Hall, BAM Next Wave, Bang on a Can Marathon and has toured throughout the US, Canada and Europe. 
 Lorna is a remix artist and reworked Max Richter's “Berlin by Overnight” for Deutsche Grammophon, Terry Riley's “Rainbow in Curved Air” for the Ecstatic Music Festival, composer Caroline Shaw & Roomful of Teeth, Missy Mazzoli, The Album Leaf, East Forest, Hess Is More, Methods Body and others. 
 She has released albums on Brooklyn's mysterious Lo Bit Landscapes label founded by nihiti, New Amsterdam Records, Medicine for a Nightmare, Dazzleships Records and co-founded Formed by Glaciers, an electronic imprint community, with producer Keith Sweaty.
