Gillie got introduced to Hip-Hop at the young age of eight. His music career unofficially started when he decided to upload his first track on Myspace in 2008 titled “My Pocket”. Gillie decided to take things more seriously when he released his self – titled demo in 2013. After releasing the demo, Gillie went onto opening for many major hip hop acts including Danny Brown, E-40, Twista, French Montana, Fabolous, Madchild and more. Gaining some attraction in the local Edmonton hip-hop scene, Gillie decided to his studies more seriously and began full-time studies in 2015. The next 4 years was a slight decline, releasing music sporadically and performing at a few local events. Upon graduating with his accounting degree in 2019, Gillie released his debut EP “BRAGI” on July 28, 2019. Influenced by underground hip-hop and unorthodox production, Gillie looks to stand out and provide hip-hop heads with great music.
