I’m DjangoBxtch from Jackson, Mississippi ☺️ I’ve been musically influenced since the age of one to be honest. My mom used to have this booklet where she writes music lyrics in it and sing them to me all the time , which is one of the reasons why I love music and have great memory. I’ve always wanted to be a rapper but I never really took myself seriously because music was just something I did to help me with depression whereas I can profit off of it. I decided to pursue my career in music on a serious note when my mom got sick the first time in 2009 because I figured if I were to be successful I can pay her hospital bills and get her a big house I promised her. So I started doing shows, going to the studio, meeting and partnering up with new talents, and people over the years until around March 2019 when I found out my mom had stage 4 cancer 😢. She died on April 19, 2019 and that really took a toll on me my music career and my life. I was going in and out of bad depression, having anxiety attacks, and on the verge of committing suicide until I talked to my mom in my sleep one day . She told me “Neki no matter what you do not give up .. you’re so talented and I believe in you girl , make me proud”. Every since that day I haven’t stopped working. A lot of people don’t support me and doubt me, but at the space I’m in now ,mentally, I can care less. I know I’m talented and I know that my time is coming. This is only the beginning.
