Hailing from Gary, Indiana this young star is looking forward to sharing his unique R&B sound. Background: Jerel Stone, born William Ford, has grown up performing. From school plays to the church choir,  the Chicago native knew of his love for music. Stone looked to singing and dancing as a way to cope with his heightened emotions and hyperactivity—a result of his Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The artist found music to be a catalyst of coping with his symptoms and began writing music at age sixteen. After high school, Stone went on to pursue his passion of using his talents to bring together various communities. Stone sets himself apart from other artists with his multi-dimensional, yet relatable perspective of R&B. Discography: On October 21st, 2022 Jerel released what would be his debut EP titled "HYPE". The R&B project expresses the love for a significant other while showcasing Jerel's Hyper independence and Hyperactivity. The EP was a healing process for the artist saying, "This project allowed me to like what's naturally me." "HYPE" is the rollercoaster of various emotions that many experience in a relationship; heartbreak, lust, uncertainty, abandonment and more. Stone aims to leave "HYPE" listeners with a message... "Don't spend so much time chasing perfection, work towards the best version of yourself."
