Montreal based duo of artists in music and visual arts TANUKI Project, consisting of french-born Legyl and Nady, is distinguished by unique artistic projects in Electronic - Trip-Hop sounds + impactful visuals. Their first self-produced album , Playground for Everyone, was released in 2010 under Aquarius Records / Donald K Donald, with North America concerts; several songs getting licensed in videos and ads. Fall 2011, release of the album 'Far From The City Lights' with a Tokyo tour. The canadian launch was a performance at Montreal Contemporary Arts Museum. The band composed soundtracks for the successful 3D animations short movies 'I, Pet Goat and URBANCE. Many projects followed: In 2015 Tanuki Soundsystem with Mic Dainjah:  electro culture clash, then ‘TRACE’, written with novels writer André Marois, a concept mixing songs + a short film. 2016-17, a DJ project ‘Crazy Rozy’, energizing dirty house A/V live act they took on tour to Japan ( 11 dates in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and Kobe). In 2018, Tanuki worked on ‘Haters Lovers’, a multimedia piece featuring John Orpheus, Aron the Alien, MurpH, Ultra K, MuGz and visual artist Feerik. In 2020 starts a cinematic electronic tale: ADAMANT’s sound is emotional, back to the band's Trip-Hop roots and the statement is purely artistic though deeply rooted in today’s collective unconscious issues.
