Calvin Strauss is an Italian-born pianist/composer who is an influential voice in post-minimalist composition and in the meeting of contemporary classical and alternative popular musical styles since 2016. He is classically trained and is also strongly influenced by rock, pop and electronic music. He is known for his prolific output and for composing and recording his own music: writing for stage, opera, ballet and screen. He's also been producing and collaborating on the records of other artists and for collaborating with performance, installation and media artists. Five of his piano performances were featured in the Christmas Grand Piano album, released at the end of 2016. At the beginning of 2017 he released as singles a series of six piano-solo pieces: Starnight, Good Day, Impermanent, Veritas, Caseless and Atmos. In 2021 he released the original album called "Water Of Tranquillity", including ten new compositions. His music is also featured in the videos of the channel "So Relaxing Music".
