Joe Peacock is a genre- hopping singer-songwriter from Birmingham with a different approach from most. He writes songs about stories that inspire, horrify, or just intrigue him. A prolific songwriter who has been releasing work as a solo artist for over three years. His second album, 'Before the robots told us where to go' was produced by @Joe Adhemar and got rave reviews: "What the Pixies would sound like if Graham Coxon and Robert Wyatt were in them." Rebirth of Cool blog "It's a deeply personal piece of work, fueled by injustice, but at the same time offering hope of better tomorrows. It's a vehicle that offers a voice to those who would otherwise remain silent" London Peaky "The genre hopping on the album keeps it fresh without feeling disjointed. Punk, Reggae, Shoegaze all sit alongside each other. The production is excellent" Old Indie Kid His third album was released in 2022, but since then he's switched to shorter form releases - 2 singles and 6 EPs including two in an acoustic alt-folk duo called The Missed Trees, who have played a number of live gigs in and around Birmingham. From retro-influenced rock to elements of drum and bass, Joe always likes to surprise the listener musically while telling unusual stories.
