Biography

Mysteriously, Lucille Ghatti emerged fusing the genius of black music’s past with its future offering a visceral yet intricate approach to R&B. She sings about her ability to reconstruct after deconstruction of self and is known for her musical transformations, and emotional transparency. Lucille Ghatti is widely credited for her elusive contributions to alternative R&B and new age Neo Soul. After the loss of her mother in 2010, She relocated to Orlando, Florida from Oakland, California and became an artist. At age 19 she recorded her first songs with Deezoebeats and began releasing singles and Mixtapes through blogs which allowed her to build a fan base. She soon released the album “Amori Infiniti” which became a cult classic that showcases her unique vocal style and ability to cohesively construct an album. The album was positively reviewed in the New York Times unexpectedly and Lucille traveled back to California to begin a music career. She immediately released more projects, “High Grade” ,“HGLSD”, “Slow matter” in the summer of 2012. She received many positive reviews and moved to NYC to further pursue music. She has released a multitude of musical projects including “Lucy’s Love suite”, “Bad manners”, “The break up”, “Free me”, and more recently “92”.Lucille hopes to be an inspiration to all aspiring artist. She hopes to inspire others to develop their own unique style of music and love their talents. In 2019 she started an independent label “The Umiverse”.
