Jonathan Block — known as Elitrax — is a musician and electronic music producer from Philadelphia, PA. Brought up with classical and jazz training, Jonathan draws upon many influences in his work, including, Zedd, The Chainsmokers, Flume, Grey, R3HAB, Lido, Madeon, Robert Glasper, Anomalie, and Moonchild. Over the summer of 2020, Elitrax collaborated with singer Nathan Farrell on and released his new single “Pick It Up,” which was released on September 4th. The song is a pop-EDM bop that reached over 150 listeners within 3 days of its emergence and has now surpassed 1.6K total streams. Elitrax hopes that the song provides inspiration and hope for those who may be going through hard times. His latest work was in June 2021, when Elitrax collaborated with singer-songwriter Christina Li on “Just As You Are”. Almost a year later, it has amassed over 2.4K listeners and 9.7K streams, along with over 2.4K views on its music video. The song has gained Elitrax widespread attention around Columbia and throughout the city. After a short break, Elitrax collaborated with singer Xaviera on an Afro-beat-inspired dance record called “Waitlist” which brought and new color to his music and gained immediate popularity among his fans. In 2024, Elitrax went back to his progressive house roots, releasing his only instrumental on streaming services called “Refocus.” Not too soon after, Elitrax teamed back up with Xaviera to release a nostalgic summer dance record called “Two Ghosts.”
