Osccurate, born and raised in Medellín, Colombia. His music career started when he was 12 years old, learning the guitar and the cello. He was part of the Red de escuelas de Música de Medellín and at age 16 he started his Bachelor of music in Jazz Guitar performance at Fundación Universitaria Bellas Artes. Before finishing his degree, he became the guitarist for a lot of important upcoming artist in Colombia such as Mabiland, Madera Jazz and The Virginia Valley, playing in some of the most important music festivals in Colombia such as Medejazz, La Solar and Concierto Radionica. In early 2020 he began his interest in techno and music production. His sound has a characteristic blend between the more aggressive and industrial sounds of techno combined with a lot of care for harmony and melody, influenced by his Jazz college education and his love for more melodic gothic genres such as post punk and darkwave, this characteristic sound has turned Osccurate into one of the rising producers and DJs from Colombia.
