Biography

Camille discovered music at the age of 4 with the violin, then trained with children's choirs for 15 years before pursuing a professional singing career. In 2019, she obtained her master's degree at the HEM in Geneva. With her interest in various repertoires, she has been heard as a soloist in the great works of the oratorio repertoire (Verdi’s Requiem, Mozart's Great Mass in C, Handel's Dixit Dominus, Pergolese’s Stabat Mater…) but also in more confidential and modern compositions such as the world premiere of the work De l'infinito (G. Cresta) for 6 voices and electronics. On stage, she is Gretel (Humperdinck), Isifile in Cavalli’s Giasone, Marie-Madeleine in Caldara's Passion. In the Mozart repertoire she interprets Donna Anna and the Countess. In 2021, she made her debut at the Aix-en-Provence festival for the world premiere of the Arab Apocalypse, by Samir Odeh-Tamimi (stage directed by Pierre Audi). Her affinity with polyphonic music and her love for collective emulation led her to collaborate with many prestigious choirs such as Pygmalion, Spirito or the choirs of the Opéra de Lyon, but also to participate in the creation of young ensembles including Les Argonautes. She also co-created her own trio, La Néréide, with Julie Roset and Ana Vieira Leite, with whom she released a record around Luzzaschi’s madrigals. Moreover she holds a degree in philosophy and a master’s degree in management.
