David Allen Slater started playing guitar at the young age of 10 and fell in love with music of all kinds, especially the prolific songwriters of his day. DAS wrote and self produced his first album, Influenced, and released it to the world in 2009. David began work on a second album, New Perspective, but due to unforeseen circumstances it only managed to see release as an EP. He later released several singles, including My Idea of Heaven and then took a hiatus from recording to work on his songwriting. 2019 has seen DAS resurface to begin work on a brand new album and September 10th, 2019 saw the release of a new single, Six Strings Underground, from his upcoming album.
