Biography

He graduated with honors in violin at the Conservatory of Novara, he studied with R. Fededegni, I. Krivensky, M. Jokanovich and M. Mika (ICONS). He received his MA in Virtuosistic education at the Conservatory of Genoa and later turned his interest to early music. He has given hundreds of concerts in chamber ensembles and collaborating with numerous orchestras and for several organizations, including the GMI, the Ass. Friends of Paganini, playing in prestigious offices in Italy and abroad (France, Switzerland, Germany). He was invited by important organizations and festivals including the Festival Baroque Signs Foligno and LakeComo Festival. He has been first violin and soloist of many orchestras, including CameratEstense and Arteviva and has collaborated with numerous orchestras, including Nova et Vetera, Haydn Orchestra, Orchestra Rolla, and many others. In 2008 he founded the baroque ensemble “I Solisti Ambrosiani” of which he is concertmaster and soloist. He has recorded for UraniaRecords, Bongiovanni, Ducale, Isanet and Opera Discovery. He has collaborated with internationally renowned musicians, including M. J. Lomonaco, K. Ricciarelli, E. Segre, M. Rizzi, G. Ettorre, B. Canino and won several awards in international Musical Competitions. He is professor of violin at “Liceo Musicale R. Malipiero” of Varese. He has also contributed to the revision of violin’s works edited by Sonitus. He also contributed to the revision of works for violin edited by Sonitus.
