The original sentiments of the songs rang true years later when Stella befriended musician Soren Maryasin (Soren, engineering on The Teskey Brothers’ Grammy-nominated LP) who went on to produce, engineer and play on the EP. Together, they siphoned the warmth and energy of Stella’s songwriting across the recording process to breathe new life into the seven tracks. From the first four singles, Stella received national radio play on Triple J and community radio around the country, was added to multiple Spotify editorial playlists and Unearthed Radio rotation.
