Jeremy Ford is a New York-based beat maker. Inspired by producers like Pete Rock, Marco Polo, The Alchemist, DJ Premier, and Madlib, he's crafted backdrops for Sadat X, Wordsworth, Blueprint, Uptown XO, Fatt Father, Bigstat, Garrison Elijaah, Little Vic, Qwill, and Klokwize. Jeremy began dabbling in music production at Central Connecticut State University in 2004. As a radio DJ for the school's weekly hip hop show, he began collaborating with emcees he met at the station. Jeremy's beats eventually caught the ear of legendary producer Domingo, who declared in a live MySpace video stream "My man's got some crazy slap in his arsenal!" In 2013, Jeremy found commercial success with the instrumental version of “Hope,” a collaboration with longtime friend and multi-instrumentalist Qwill, which was featured in promotional videos for GMC Trucks. After putting music aside to focus on his graphic design career, Jeremy returned to the scene in 2018. That year, he scored an episode of Beat Society's podcast (co-founded by Hezekiah) and was featured in a live production showcase in New York City, sponsored by istandard and Tracklib, where he played beats for judges Rockwilder and Tony Dofat. In 2020, DJ Premier and DJ Eclipse spun Ford's single “All It Takes” featuring Little Vic on their Shade45 shows, “Live From Headqcourterz” and "Rap Is Outta Control,” respectively. Self Seekers, his first full-length album, was released at the end of the year.
