Coming from a small city called Beaumont, Texas, Jeleel has finally emerged from the ground and is reaching for the skies. He has been writing songs since he was in the fifth grade in elementary school. By Jeleel being black and gay, he wants to show the world that being a "double-minority" should not stop you from being the best artist you can be and teaching others to love themselves.
