Singer-songwriter Dionne Bromfield, made her entrance into the music industry in 2009 at just 13 years old with her first ever debut performance of hit single ‘Mama Said’ on BBC One’s hugely popular show ‘Strictly Come Dancing'. Dionne quickly became a well recognised soul female artist. She was first signed to Lioness, a label created by her biggest champion and Godmother Amy Winehouse, hosted by recording giant Universal via Island Records. In 2009 Dionne released her first album ‘Introducing Dionne Bromfield’ which broke into the top 40 in the UK. In 2011 her second album ‘Good For The Soul’ followed, acclaiming a MOBO nomination for Best R&B Soul Act, beaten narrowly by Adele. Dionne returns this 2021 with her brand new single ‘Silly Love’ - a track featuring the 25-year-old’s smooth vocals paired with an addictive soulful beat. “Silly Love was born from a personal situation I went through with a guy. I think every girl at some point has chosen the wrong guy but has tried to convince themselves that they’re the right one. Of course this ends in heartbreak. But personally I believe you have to go through these silly relationships to lead you to the right one. It’s all part of personal growth and will make perfect sense one day!” Dionne Bromfield. This track follows on from her earlier release in 2020; ‘Bad Intentions’ which racked up over 80,000 Spotify streams and kickstarted the release of her long-awaited EP which will be released towards the end of 2021.
