Tylyriq is a Producer/Artist who was born in Rock Island, Illinois. His father is a musician & minister, his mother is a singer by nature. “It all started on pots and pans,” his mother says. He would literally crawl into the kitchen in the morning and pull out pots and pans, set them up like a drum set and bang on them until everybody in the house would wake up. Then from there it went to church fans. He would pull the wood part off of the fan and bang on the back of the pews till we made him stop. Ty says, his mom influenced him to be the artist he is today. “In most black households, Saturday use to be cleaning day. My mom would be playing Biggie, Mase, (basically anything bad boy records released) with a mix of John P. Kee, Bebe & CeCe Winans, & the Thompson Community Choir.” That's where his love for Jesus & Hip Hop collided. Not only does he produce but he is a well rounded musician who's expertise goes from Drums to Piano to Cello. He's heavily influenced by church musicianship, orchestral movie scores, hip hop & a wide range of other genres of music. When you play his tracks you will hear the passion and influences through the sounds he uses. His production is very cinematic. Every track sounds like an action movie. His lyrics are a mixture of scripture, punch lines, worship, & world perspectives. He now resides in Tulsa, Oklahoma along with his wife Tameya & son Diante "LyfeChyld" Robinson.
