Melbourne-based producer/singer/songwriter Esmond Angeles' solo electronic project Nightingale was born to create meaningful soundtracks to our individual and collective journeys. The sounds of RÜFÜS DU SOL, Lastlings and Hayden James resonate and echo throughout the songs that Nightingale has created. His growth as an artist is reflected in his accomplishments. Nightingale had an official remix of DOOLIE's Only For A Night - Nightingale Remix that was released on renowned Australian music label 'etcetc'.The positive relationship with etcetc continued to another release; a modern take on Two Door Cinema Club's Undercover Martyn. The cover featured his own vocals, and the positive feedback from the industry and listeners gave him the inspiration and confidence to do the vocals on his own work moving forward. Literally 'finding' his voice, Nightingale continues off a streak of consistent releases in 2021 which saw widespread media coverage including HypeMachine listed blogs, multiple curated playlist additions, thousands of streams, positive online media coverage, and Triple J airplay. With his first release of 2022 ‘Vermillion’ featuring on Triple J’s ‘House Party’ program and accumulating extensive streams and press coverage, Nightingale looks forward to continuing to establish himself as the up and coming electronic act to watch out for with a revised show featuring a live band!
