Biography
Bolywool were founded in Svarteberga on northern Öland in 1998 by cousins Oskar Karlström and Calle Thoor. Since then, locations and states of mind have shifted, but Öland has always been a constant. Being romantics of the sea, islands and nature - both rural and urban, their music has been described as cinematic, life-affirming and experimental with a pop structure; for fans of Spiritualized, Mogwai, The Appleseed Cast, Constellation Records and Creation Records.
