R.E. double D is an underground artist from Longview, TX. He found his passion for music at a young age growing up in a family filled with musical talent. It was not until he got involved with freestyling with classmates, local talent shows and freestyle battles that he found his niche. Shortly after, he created his first album with his cousin and a couple of classmates. Dealing with the frustration of limited studio opportunities and being at the mercy of someone else, he started establishing his own home studio. He fervently learned how to record and engineer his own tracks. Music wasn't paying the bills, so he had to find work in the meantime. Not knowing that this profession would combine with his passion and have his music heard around the world. He was able to introduce his Texas southern style all across the globe and connect with others that had the same passion for music. He created Southern Brigade Music from the inspiration of the southern influence from he and his team. He took a stint from recording his music to assist upcoming artist. Yet, the lyrical creativity wouldn't reside within him. He got back in the lab and his lyrical and creativity energy exploded. He provides the smooth vocals on a chorus, the versatile heat on a verse and engineering behind the scenes. He is not to be slept on!
