Zoe Pascal is a young Portuguese drummer based in South London since 2008. He was born in Lisbon into a musical and artistic family. His father, Theo Pascal, one of Portugal´s best bass players, taught him the foundations of being a musician and Zoe started playing, in a family relaxed Environment, at 3 - 4 years old. Once he moved to London he had access to the best music education and with 12 Years old joins award-winning Jazz talent development organisation - Tomorrow´s Warriors. At 14 he was selected to study at Royal Academy of Music Junior academy under the mentorship of Gareth Lockrane, finishing the advance level at 16 with outstanding results. Other achievements include receiving sponsorship from Soultone Cymbals at 11 yrs (youngest UK endorsee), from Vater at 14 and to be included in the Cympad Class of 2018 with other young talented drummers from around the World. He was also part of the TOP 10 Best UK young drummer of the year in 2015+2016+2017. You find his performances as a guest drummer in several International acclaimed releases by Carmen Souza and Theo Pascal, including their most recent cd - The Silver Messengers. At age 18 his record of concerts is impressive having played in major venues in UK, France, Germany, Spain or Cape Verde. In 2016, he started Zeñel, a modern Jazz trio based in London, already listed by Jazzwise Magazine "Artists to watch" in 2017 & 2018. Currently, he also tours with Steve Williamson trio, Ife Ogunjobi amoung other projects.
