Biography

Rachele Eve is a recording artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Detroit, MI. Her latest release, Dancing Under Neowise, features "OMNI," an Italo Disco jam for the revolution and "HUE," a soft synth space odyssey of an empowered heart celebrating its worthiness. With the help of multi-instrumentalist and producer, The Lasso, their collaboration on DUN led to Eve’s starring role on his latest album, “2121” released on Mello Music Group, featuring A Billi Free, Ill Camille, Fat Tony, Hemlock Ernst, and more. The songstress’ style of confessional and emotionally rich compositions emerged in Chicago where Eve was immersed in a vibrant neo-folk community on and off stage, coordinating events, running sound, and collaborating with local songwriters. With featured performances on Daytrotter, the Inconvenience, and the first female fronted project presented by Audiotree, her debut album, Mouth of Feathers, deemed her Top Local Artist on WXRT Chicago in 2010. Her sophomore release, Our Love is Imagined, was penned with classical guitar. The call-and-response cello vamps of Teddy Rankin-Parker (Iron & Wine, Primus) and Ben ‘Dirtus’ White sustain the soundscape of these intensely cathartic folk ballads. A deeply introspective journey of living on a small island in the Pacific, invoked Rachele Eve’s third album, Renunciation. This work is an intimate collection of songs for transformation, refuge, and renunciation.
