Newcastle based, Hackney born rapper, Reali-T (/riˈæləti/ ree-AL-uh-tee), is one of the main artists spearheading the flourishing hip-hop scene in the North East, Reali-T’s lyrics often detail him juggling life as a qualified pharmacist with music. These subjects are touched upon in his lyrics, while still upholding the wordplay, punchlines and humour that have made him such a staple of recent Northern rap. Reali-T has previously been cosigned by the UK Hip Hop royalty, Leaf Dog ( frequent Wu Tang Clan collaborator and High Focus Records artist), after performing at an Open Mic Session at the popular FUBAR Radio station. In addition to headlining the O2 Academy in Newcastle, Reali-T has recently gone on to create history by becoming the first hip-hop artist to perform at Sunderland's award winning performance venue, The Fire Station.
