D. Mand is the pseudonym of the german based DJ/producer Daniel Körber. He started his DJ career in discotheques in the Westerwald region until his first remixes and ghost productions brought him to Germany's big discotheques in the mid-2000s. His first musical steps were heavily influenced by hard trance, but after he’d met DJ and producer JamX (part of the legendary Duo “DuMonde”) they started working together using the pseudonym “JamX, Beam & Vace”. They produced Bigroom and Dirty Dutch tracks such as „Pressure“, which instantly made it into the sets of world-renown DJs and festivals, or official remixes for superstars, Robbie Williams being one of them (Bodies). Through this collaboration he got to know Dutchwoman Marie-José van der Kolk, better known as “Loona” in 2010 and contributed a remix to the song “Vamos a la playa”, which also made it into sets of DJs across the globe. While D.Mand spent the last couple of years as a producer for German dance labels and built his own new studio and mixing room, his focus in 2023 will once again be on his own productions and performances. He will start with a new version of “Vamos a la playa”, presented in a completely fresh and new sound together with Loona. Techno, Hardstyle, Slaphouse, SpedUp versions – everything is once more permitted in music, and this trend perfectly fits D. Mand’s roots as a Dance, Trance & Techno DJ and producer. The next productions are already in the wings… back to the roots.
