Producer Al Smith aka Upstart kept his dj name from when he was 16 back in 98. Al has been fascinated with the sounds of underground dance music since he chose a rave tape pack as his birthday present when he was 11. Amnesia House: The science of Rythmn - Stu Allan, Easygroove, Ratpack and Luke and Neil Trix. The sounds, tempo and groove created a soundscape in his head which has formed the DNA of his production to date.
