JG is a multi-talented rapper and songwriter from Tampa Bay, Florida. He began his musical journey as a child; growing up listening to, and experimenting with a variety of genres that have played an influential role in shaping his signature sound. 
 After high school, JG went on to play football at Tennessee State University, before transferring to Lindenwood University where he was eventually kicked off the team due to personal issues. It was during this time that JG released his first mixtape ‘Public Relations’ which documented his break-up with his high school sweetheart. 
 Since then he has gone on to release 5 more albums/EPs, with 3 additional releases set for 2023. 
 With each new project, JG continues to push boundaries and create unique sounds within the hip-hop genre further solidifying himself as an artist on the rise.
