A multifaceted songwriter, producer and bandleader; Jesse Brewster produces songs across a variety of genres including R&B, Rock, Country and Americana. It is on stage where his music comes alive, with an energetic band capturing the energy of his compositions in whatever format the room calls for. As a storyteller, he chronicles his experiences in his music; releasing records that mix gentle folk songs, heartland country-rockers, guitar-slinging barn burners, autobiographical lyrics, and character-driven storytelling. “A record is a timestamp in your life as a songwriter,” he explains. “Like a court record, it catalogs where you were that year, what you were doing as an artist, and how you were feeling.” Jesse grew up on the move, attending 10 different schools by the time he turned 12 years old.. Years later, when he first hit the road as a traveling musician, he immediately felt at home on tour, having already spent much of his life in constant motion. These days Jesse writes, records and performs around the West Coast in many different formats. Between writing music for TV shows, cowriting with other artists and releasing a steady stream of his own material, Jesse maintains a busy schedule of musical endeavors.
