Dutch artist Margriet Sjoerdsma recorded 5 albums: (With the whisper of a morning -2006- en Bloom -2008- Drawing Circles-2011, A Tribute to Eva Cassidy-2013) sang concerts at venues as the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, North Sea Jazz Festival, national radio and TV. Her latest project was A Tribute to Eva Cassidy ft. Dan Cassidy (Eva’s brother) on violin. With this project she played more than 80 sold out concerts in one year and reached an audience of more than 10.000 people.  During A Tribute to Eva Cassidy, she felt like writing her own songs again. It had been a hectic and intense period in her private life so she decided to take a solo trip of 3 months to beautiful Norway. 
Inspired by the intensity of the Norwegian landscape, she started writing more personal songs, inviting the listener to come really close. As a fan of Ane Brun, it only made sense to ask producer Tobias Fröberg to produce her album under her new artist name ODELION. Recorded in Fattoria Osnabrück (Germany), mixed in Gotland (Sweden), mastered in England by Pete Maher (Damien Rice) and written and sung by a Dutchie!
