To limit the artistry of M-$wift to a single genre would serve as an injustice. Versatile in his nature, he has made it habit to bend boundaries and break barriers with his craft. His music consists of both hip-hop and R&B elements, in which he balances hard-hitting and introspective lyricism with moody and laid-back melodies. He utilizes his vocals as a powerful instrument, with his infectious cadence painting images of both romance and heartbreak. He does so effortlessly, cultivating an air of mystique and unpredictability to his character. He takes influences from genre bending musicians, such as Kendrick Lamar, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Tory Lanez and Travis Scott. His 2019 release “Vibes Galore” was a concise but captivating project that gave his audience a vulnerable view into his own world. Nicknamed “Rose Boy” by his peers, the young artiste believes that collaboration is the most efficient way to build a community. He credits his close friends A. Sam, Late90s and Medelo as the artistes who encouraged him to fully pursue his ambitions. He is one of the four talented artistes associated with SadTillRich Records, a collective based around the concept of hustle and hardwork. His first full-length project was “Rhymes and Vibes”, a collaborative effort that he released alongside fellow hip-hop artiste LLID For a musician like M-$wift, staying connected with those around him keeps him grounded, and keeps him inspired to deliver quality music. - Solomon Spence AKA King Cruff
