Throughout her career, recording artist, vocalist and songwriter, Michelle Amador has been the recipient of much praise. The San Francisco Chronicle describes her as “silken-voiced” while the San Jose Mercury News proclaims that “Michelle Amador is a new breed of musician…” Born in the San Francisco Bay Area to a Peruvian composer/pianist and Austrian mother, Amador began recording and releasing music with roots in jazz, electronic and folk music. Her unique talents were recognized in 2006 when she was one of 2,000 to be accepted to the RBMA Rome, where she collaborated on electronic recordings with Karma and Zed Bias among many others. In 2020, Amador released two singles, "Glimmer" and "We Can Work It Out". Amador followed these with the release of "These are the His and Los" in 2021 featuring a video by SNEAL, followed by the release of "Words" with animated collage by Sara Pettinella. These songs were recorded with producer and sound engineer Eli Crews (tUnE-yArDs, Questlove, Kathleen Hanna, Yoko Ono) at Figure8 recording in Brooklyn, NY. John Cohrs of Bear Call mastered the album. Amador will release new singles "Only Peace I've Found" and "You Are Where You Belong" in the coming months.
