Achim Hox ( Hoxtones ), born in Krefeld, Germany discovered his love of music at an early age and starting trying to make his own with the Commodore C=64 und mit dem Amiga 500. He was 12 years old when he started playing with his first band and at 14 he performed his first gigs as a DJ at a local youth club. When he was 18, he was asked to do his first DJ performance at a discotheque. In 1995 Achim built his own recording studio and it was then that he started signing his first record deals ( Don Records, House Nation, Emi, Sony, More Music, Kontor, Run DBN, Tiger Records, Xumba Records Spain, Sirup Music, Dance of Toads, ) He met Phil (Aboutblank) Franecki from nearby Bottrop in January 2008 and they have been writing songs together in Achim's studio ever since. Over the years they have worked together with a number of well-known artists, i.e. Moguai, DaHool, Andru Donalds, Loona, Phil Fuldner, Jay Frog, DJ Shog, DJ Quicksilver , Jaxon Bellina. His very first single release was in 1996 with the label House Nation under the project name C-Mania.
