A California native whose eclectic style waxes poetics over break beats and soul samples, Orlando Coolridge is an emcee, battle rapper and producer (by the name of BE.water) with a taste for the smooth, and bars galore. 
 He’s toured with Sage the 64th Wonder and Vagabond Maurice, performed with Jansport J, also opened for Dead Prez, and DJ Premier at the now defunct Shrine Chicago. Performing across the country, from Lincoln Hall in Chicago, to the Knitting Factory in Los Angeles, Orlando takes the "globe-trotter" approach to music, looking to consume culture and live through spreading the joy of music. 
 Having such lyrical dexterity, Orlando is firmly planting himself in the battle rap scene. Having been featured already on No Coast, GYSBL, and ECCM, he shines through punchlines, aggression, and humor in the battle arena. 
 Coined as Weapon X of the Slumpgang777 collective, Orlando Coolridge combines sharp, witty lyricism with conceptual, abstract metaphor. In art, there is no such thing as finished.
