[EN] In 2001, Jérôme Correas founded Les Paladins, an instrumental ensemble with which he explored the dramatic repertoires of the 17th and 18th centuries. With a passion for the stage, he began research into the theatricality of the voice and the expressivity of instruments, both in the lyrical repertoire and in religious music. Les Paladins collaborate with directors from a wide range of artistic backgrounds (theater, video, puppetry, dance, circus). They perform with a wide range of ensembles, from quartets to Mozart orchestras, in France and abroad. They record with Arion, Pan Classics, Ambronay Editions, Naïve, Cyprès Records, Alpha Classics and B Records. Passionné par la scène, il entreprend dès lors une recherche sur la théâtralité de la voix et l'expressivité des instruments, dans le répertoire lyrique comme dans la musique religieuse. Les Paladins collaborent ainsi avec des metteurs en scène venant d’horizons artistiques divers (théâtre, vidéo, marionnette, danse, cirque). Ils se produisent dans des effectifs à géométrie variable allant du quatuor à l’orchestre mozartien, en France et à l’étranger. Ils enregistrent avec Arion, Pan Classics, Ambronay Editions, Naïve, Cyprès Records, Alpha Classics et B Records.
