Dave Forestfield is a singer-songwriter and a record producer from Finland. Listeners can hear a wide scale of nuances from blues, folk, gospel, country, pop, early rock’n’roll and jazz ballads. Yet the music is always the pure Dave Forestfield; songs with a laidback feeling and witty stories told with a recognizable voice. Forestfield has released nine solo albums. His songs, musicianship and record production can be heard on many other albums, too. His music has been awarded in both the USA and Finland. Song of the year awards in Finland 2018 and 2015 "Me and My Bible (We're The Devil", "I Believe The Change Will Come", and the best film score award in Nashville, TN in 2016. The latest solo album “Skull” was released in May 2021. It features 12 new songs written by Forestfield. A new EP with the title track “Fantasy Living Boy” from the album “Skull” will be released on 27 August 2021. It includes three originally traditional songs arranged by Forestfield, one being the old Irish song “My Bonnie” which many people know. On this EP the song has been taken on the whole new soulful R&B level and far from its roots. The fourth non-album track on the EP is a song by Randy Newman "You Can't Fool The Fat Man". "I wanted to include some cover songs on it to make it an interesting little EP album. Plus they are all my personal favorites which I want the world to hear. Yet, I wanted to give some of them a special "like never before" kind of arrangement", tells Forestfield.
