Ryan Williams is a music composer mostly known for his work on the Dead Island 2 soundtrack and gameplay score. His lifelong love of all things horror has been a driving force behind his creative output. Ryan's passion for the undead began at a young age, when he was introduced to Sam Raimi’s seminal classic Evil Dead 2. From that moment on he was intoxicated by the dark humour, consuming every horror film and TV show he could find. This love of the undead has been a constant source of inspiration in his music, and it is evident in his work on Dead Island 2. Just Like a bloodthirsty brain obsessed zombie, his hunger for creating immersive and infectious audio has oozed into every corner of the experience. Paying deference to the grand masters of cinematic suspense and horror music (Carpenter, Elfman, Hermann, Beltrami, Baxter, et al) Ryan has created a musical backdrop that intensifies the fun exhilaration of vanquishing the undead whilst accompanying the player through their evolving story.
