Straight out of Central Texas, Alternative R&B singer/songwriter, Nayome, will unapologetically lure you in with her untraditional production styles and unique smooth vocals. Her most recent EP, “Personal,” demonstrates her evolving sound and breaking the barriers of being confined to one genre. Growing up in New Jersey, Nayome’s introduction into the music scene began at her grandfather’s soul-food restaurant, Je’s. His restaurant was a staple in downtown Newark, where musicians from all walks of life came and went, quietly influencing Nayome and instilling her with a deep passion for music. This passion, along with her passion in dance would lay the foundation for who she is today.
