Young Grills Khalista, commonly known as YGK for short is a recording artist & producer from Oshikuku, a small dusty town in the northern part of Namibia. He was always passionate about music as a child and knew he could do it too, just like his idols. He started recording music in 2014 when he was doing 7th grade and started learning about beat production a year after that (his first year in high school [Etosha Secondary School]). YGK released music consistently throughout school and performed at school shows. This was not only growing him a buzz in school, but in the town of Tsumeb too. More people started being more aware of his music through the internet.
