Sipho Eugene Lekganyane better known as Afriikan Papi, is an Afro pop vocalist, music producer, singer and songwriter. 
 Born in Johannesburg Gauteng, he was then quickly moved to Durban, Kwa-Mashu, where he spent most of his child hood there. 
 Afriikan Papi grew up in a musical back ground with his four siblings, being the younger sibling to singer Just Bheki, music was inherently defined in their life. 
 After moving back to Johannesburg, he formed a group with his brother Just Bheki and three other partners to form a five member Afro pop group ‘Eminent Fam’. Initially fashioned as the RnB “New Edition” of South Africa, they quickly rose to fame in 2017, being offered various contracts from label executives. During his stint with Eminent Fam, they collaborated with artists such as L-Tido and Heavy K. 
 Afriikan Papi then started collaborating as a solo act with the likes of Sun El Musician, Heavy K, Mdoovah, DJ Kenza, Assessa, Slickwitit and Q-mark & TpZee. 
 He began working closely under artist development with Cloud9ne Productions as a fully fledged artist and songwriter with Q-Mark and TpZee and birthed the hit song “Paris”. 
 “Paris” has become the one of the biggest Amapiano songs of December 2022, topping the charts, peaking at 1 on all top radio stations in South Africa and charting at number 1 on South Africa’s Apple iTunes and Spotify. 
 The official music video “Paris” has garnered and is projected to surpass over twelve million views.
