"Holed up in the sonic sphere, Spells' Lab, writing, producing and engineering my own music. I hope you like my odd concoctions..." Growing up in the North of England with stints in the Middle East (Kuwait and Bahrain), Good Spells' youth was a mix of British and Arabic culture with Manchester, England becoming home in his later formative years. American friends influenced musical tastes early on, birthing a love of rock & metal, with Manchester's world famous club culture solidifying a wide musical taste. Sneaking into nightclubs such as the infamous Boardwalk, and The Hacienda, way under legal age... and a regular at The Ritz and Rockworld, made sure wide tastes were maintained. His obsession with music led to Good Spells eventually moving, permanently, to London setting up and running recording studios. Over time, Good Spells sought more tranquility and a move back up North, to semi-rural surroundings, would become the foundation to finding the magic. Now working from a custom made spherical chamber called Spells' Lab, Good Spells' journey of acoustic exploration continues.
