Birmingham’s own Joey McCrilley is fast becoming one of UK house's rising names. Debuting his production status in 2013 with ‘Clubhopper’ on French label Paranoiak, Joey went on to play shows throughout the UK and Europe, gracing the DJ Mag VIP stage at Global Gathering. In 2015 he debuted on BBC Radio 1Xtra, dropping a guest mix for UKG MVP DJ Cameo, and remixed Danglo on Kitsune Records. His production work soon caught the attention of major labels, landing him remixes for Jennifer Hudson (Sony Music), Maverick Sabre (Virgin Records) and Years & Years (Universal Music), as well as a release on Blonde's own label Nightbeast Records. His music has topped the Beatport House Top 100, and received support from the likes of BBC Radio 1 and David Guetta. Joey releases his EP Feel Good Tapes, Vol. 1 in summer 2020. The first single ‘Eyes’ hit the top 5 on MusicWeek's Upfront Club Chart, and was playlisted on Kiss FM. He remixed Greyson Chance for Sony Music, and Origin8a & Propa's 'Harmony' for Universal Music. 2021 saw the release of new singles 'Come Together' and 'Sun Comes Up', from his second EP Feel Good Tapes, Vol. 2 including remixes from TIEKS and Danny Rhys. He teamed up with Redondo on 'Nothing' (Spinnin' Records). In 2022 Joey released 'Close to You' (with Reigns) which was featured on UK show Love Island. His album Feel Good Tapes arrived in the summer. 2023 has seen Joey return with 'Back in Time', and new house heater 'Deepest Cut (with Katie Sky).
