With an expressive talent for both popular and classical music, pianist and composer Daniel Grajew was born in São Paulo, Brazil. He graduated in classical piano at University of São Paulo (USP), with a Masters Degree at the same institution. His awards includes I Concurso Jovens Solistas da USP (2009), XI Concurso Villa Lobos (2009), winner of Edital Proac for album recording (2011) and 1st prize on Guiomar Novaes Competition / Popular Piano (2020). Daniel plays with resourcefulness the classical repertoire as well as jazz, choro, tango and other popular genres. Toured over Europe and played with many artists, groups and orchestras such as: Escualo Ensemble, OCAM Chamber Orchestra, Carlos Malta, Kathryn Green, Tiganá Santana, Luiz Brasil, Blubell, Alexandre Silvério, Lucas Santana, Emilio Martins, Camille Bertauld, Zizi Possi, among others. In 2013 releases his first trio album called MANGA, in 2016 BAILADO, duo with bassist Marcos Paiva. In 2017 NOVOS ARES with Escualo Ensemble and in 2018 works with Zizi Possi at the projects À Flor da Pele and Ins-pirações. In 2019 releases two albums: MOSAICO with bandolinist Andre Bachur and QUANTUM with percussionist Túlio Araújo. In 2020 he is releasing the solo album ACALANTO by Azul Music Records.
