BriggsAve hails from New York City. Born in Brooklyn and raised in the Bronx, BriggsAve uses his experiences as the canvas for his creations. 
 BriggsAve has been surrounded in music for a large part of his life. At around 10 years old, he started to write poetry as a means of escape. Some of the ills of life had already become part of his reality. He began throwing parties and DJ’ing at 15. He started producing music a little later. 
 With all that said though, Self doubt and lack of confidence have loomed over him like a cloud. This led to him pushing off his passion may times over. Now though, he has an acute sense of self, and the drive to propel him toward his goals. 
 His music focuses on his progression as a human. From the wide eyed, optimistic kid from Brooklyn, to the traveling social activist, to the devoted family man, and everywhere in between. Though his journey has had its twists and turns, he’d change nothing. “Everything I’ve been through has made me the man I am, and today I kinda like that guy. 
 He has performed at dozens of events as a mobile DJ, collaborated and performed with local artists from NYC, has produced records for local NYC artists and now is releasing his own original music. 
 A true jack of all trades, BriggsAve aims to use his life stories as a living documents. “Hopefully from my stories, you can avoid hitting the pitfalls I and so many others before me have hit. Maybe your generation will be the one to propel us to new heights.”
