Third Of The Fourth takes on influences from film scores, grime, dubstep, metal, future bass and trance to bind them all into a cutting edge electronic sound that has its own unique identity, which has been predominantly heard in unofficial remixes of Jennifer Lopez, Drake, Christina Aguilera, Linkin Park, Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga. The name stems from his date of birth and from his family, which he is the third sibling out of four. Since his debut album release on Tokyo label Room 420, Third Of The Fourth went on to release the 2 track EP ‘You Are’ on Spinnup, which featured Lisa Theodore and Tahir Jackson on vocals, which led to the completion and release of ‘Infinite’ on Dubtrxx a few months later. After play outs on Radio WigWam and BBC Radio Merseyside, a single ambient edit was released on Nuit Blanche followed by a 5 track EP known as ‘See’ on Kanjian which contain pieces that are often performed live. Since beginning his live performances and new sounds, Third Of The Fourth has developed two styles of performing. The first covers all of his originals and remixes, intended for larger rooms, clubs and festivals. The second is a Lo-Fi hip hop set, intended for more intimate, smaller shows which feature specific hip hop, R&B and dance classic remixes and some original Lo-Fi productions. With many more productions and remixes coming, the next few months should be a very interesting time for the London based producer.
